Choosing a Nitrile Glove
What to Look At.
Thickness
Our nitrile gloves run from 3 to 9 mil. Thinner gloves give more fingertip feel and suit short, light tasks. Thicker gloves last longer against abrasion and punctures, at some cost to dexterity. How to choose a thickness and what a mil is.
Cuff length
Standard gloves are 240 mm. Long-cuff versions at 290 and 300 mm cover more of the forearm, which helps with splashes and wet work. Long-cuff options are listed with each glove family above.
Colour
The range comes in 18 colours. Black hides grease and dirt. Orange and yellow are easy to see. Blue stands out against food. Colours also let a site separate tasks or areas.
Standards and documents
Each product page shows that glove's EN ISO 374 classification and test results. Chemical resistance depends on the specific glove and chemical, so check the tested data for your use. Certificates and declarations are on our certifications page.
