Built for the Toughest Jobs

Heavy Duty Nitrile & Latex Gloves.

A glove suits heavy work when it lasts through abrasion, oil, water and rough handling. That comes from several things together: a thicker film, a grip texture that holds wet or oily parts, a beaded cuff that resists tearing as you pull the glove on, and a long cuff where liquids are involved. The gloves below are the thickest in our nitrile and latex range, many with our raised diamond, Micro Diamond, Zig or Tyre Tread textures and long-cuff versions. Each glove's page lists its tested properties.

Choosing a Heavy Duty Glove

Match the Glove to the Job.

Thickness

A thicker film lasts longer against abrasion and punctures but gives up some fingertip feel. Pick the thinnest glove that survives the task. How to choose a thickness.

Texture

Grip matters as much as thickness when parts are oily or wet. Micro Diamond and Tyre Tread are made for oil, Zig Grip for dry grip, and the raised diamond for general heavy work.

Cuff

Long-cuff versions cover more of the forearm, which keeps splashes and cleaning solutions out of the glove.

Application

See the gloves we recommend for automotive work, oil and gas, construction and chemical handling. For chemicals, check each glove's tested EN ISO 374 results against the chemical you use.
