About Us
Innovative Gloves Co., Ltd. was established in year 2001 by Mr. Rajeev Sood. Having been in the industry since 1986 and built a number of plants from ground up, Mr Sood decided it was time to build one of the best production facilities. Bringing together the most advanced and state of the art production technologies and a professional team with 17 years of experience in Dipping Technology and vast experiences in the Latex industry this dream was accomplished. Innovative Gloves was conceived on a land area of 20 Acres and was commissioned in September 2001. It certainly was a very humble beginning at a tough time in the industry, where big players were openly out to destroy competition, however the willingness, determination dedication and perseverance to succeed , made Innovative Gloves the most renown and prestigious quality manufacturer it is today. In these nine years not even a single container has ever been rejected by a buyer or any authority in the world. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN DETAINED OR REJECTED BY US FDA which is a proof of our unmatched reputation and commitment to quality.
Innovatives’ initial installed capacity was 380 million Examination Gloves per Annum which has been expanded to 840 million gloves in year 2010 and will well cross over 1 billion in year 2012. Buildings for future expansions have been completed, boilers have been erected and further expansions will come once all the proper training to cope with the growth is achieved. Innovative does not believe in expanding productions without ensuring that the growth of expansion is equally spread in all segments of the company starting with production , quality assurance, administration and training. Regular emphasis on developing new products and bringing in new technologies has not only made Innovative a survivor in the industry but also has created a niche segment of buyers whose intentions were always to sell something different in the market.
With the finest quality of Latex coming out from the heart of Songkhla province( worlds highest yielding area for natural rubber )and a team of very good professionals from the glove industry, Innovative was certified for ISO 9001; 2000 and ISO 13845. With 510 K approvals on all the gloves , Innovative is also TGA and CMDCAS compliant. In year 2002 Innovative was also audited by US FDA inspectors and was certified for maintaining an excellent GMP system. With strong commitment on high quality, environment, social responsibility, Innovative has become one of the top exporters of Latex Examination Gloves, which meet all the required standards worldwide.
Our Philosophy
Innovative views its’ management and staff as its core assets and maintains a very good working environment for all its employees. Charity begins at home and with this belief the most important part is taking care of the welfare of each employee and its families. Our minimum income of each employee is at least 20% above the industry standards . Compulsory bonuses for all employees , free rice ( no one should go hungry ),clean and safe accommodation have now become a very important concern for Innovative's management. Being part of Thai society we feel proud in maintaining a clean environment and strictly adhere to the industrial norms. Well being of all the employees by regular health checks, proper training, has become a regular part of our system. Innovative allocates monthly budgets for free health checks for our villagers , scholarships for needy students,and supports various different programs required in our society. The willingness to take the first step for any good cause is very important and because of this reason today Innovative Gloves and its production factory is well loved and respected by the local people. The goal is not to generate wealth for just only shareholders but to improve the livelihood of all who work in the company and to contribute in whatever possible way to the local community.
CLEAN TECHNOLOGY:
Innovative was the first Glove producer to bring in clean coal burning technology and because of this reason Innovative was the first company in South of Thailand to have got clearance from various authorities to use clean coal technology for its heating systems.In fact burning oil was causing more pollution and with clean coal technology being in place, not only did the company save on heavy costs but it helped in reducing the sulphur emissions which were high when burning oil.Innovative now aims to get ISO 14000 in next coming audits.
Waste water from Innovative before being discharged into cannals is so clear that Innovative now breeds different types of fish which are edible and are given to villagers free of cost.Go green has been the logo of Mr Sood from the day he started Innovative. At that time each worker was asked to plant a tree and today all those 200 plus trees planted in and around the factory make it one of the most beautiful glove factory. Innovative now has a small orchard where you can taste one of the finest mangoes, guavas, rumbutan and few other fruits. Mr Sood believes that mother earth we inherit should be taken care as one looks after his/her real mother. |
