• Thousands of ceramic hand formers are first washed by dipping in hot water. They are then dipped into a coagulant tank that contains process chemicals. Finally they are ready for dipping in the latex tank.
• These formers then pass through an oven where the liquid latex forms into gel.
• Speed of the production lines and the dipping angle that the formers dip into the tanks must be optimized to minimize formation of bubbles in the latex on the formers. These bubbles can become uneven spots or so called "fish-eyes" on the gloves when the latex becomes dry, which can easily turn into a soft spot or pinhole on the gloves.

• The formers then run through the pre-vulcanization leaching tanks to remove excess chemical residue and latex protein with hot water from the glove surface.
• Our formers pass through 3 long pre-vulcanization leaching tanks instead of just a single leaching tank, because multiple leaching tanks ensure the maximum amount of latex protein and chemical residue to be removed from the latex gel.
• We use fresh hot water instead of cold water, counter-flowing continuously against the formers as they pass through these leaching tanks. The amount of hot water flow per hour (gallon / hour) in the leaching tanks is also optimized to take away as much chemical and protein from the latex gel as possible.
• In addition, all formers are dipped deep above the bead of the cuff in the leaching tanks, instead of just at the cuff level.

• The formers later pass into the vulcanization oven. The heat removes moisture and the latex gel hardens to form into latex gloves. The formers then pass through a post-vulcanization leaching tank to remove more latex protein and chemical residue.
• Many gloves are produced by production lines that do not consist of a post-vulcanization leaching tank. The post-vulcanization leaching tank is the MOST important step in removing excess latex protein from the gloves.
• The formers then pass through another drying oven before going into another tank containing wet cornstarch powder and water. After another drying oven, the gloves are finally stripped from the formers either by hand one glove at a time or by an automatic air ejection machine.
• The gloves are then placed into tumble dryers for the final vulcanization process. Throughout the whole production process, strict quality control procedures and various control tests are carried out on every batch of every run, to monitor the process as well as the quality of the products. Finally, the gloves are packed into individual dispensing boxes.

In order to produce the highest quality gloves for your safety and protection, Innovative Gloves has gone to great lengths to ensure our manufacturing process and quality control procedures are carried out according to the stringent specifications of the FDA, ADA and ASTM.

At various stages of our manufacturing process, assorted sampling and quality control tests are routinely taken to monitor our day to day operation and product quality. These tests include 1000ml water-tight test, air inflation test, chemical residue test, visual inspection, etc.

Our manufacturing facilities have implemented the ISO 9002 Quality Systems, and have adopted the EN 455 standards. We are always in compliance with the FDA Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
